Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Accent Forge collects, why, who helps me handle it, and what you can do about it. Accent Forge is run by Ryan Chappell in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Contact: baseline@accentforgecoaching.com.

Who this is for

Accent Forge is for people aged 18 or older. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent me information, email me and I will delete it.

What I collect

• Contact forms: your name, email and message, when you write to me or send a corporate inquiry.
• Heteronym Tool: your email address, if you choose to unlock all 100 words. Your practice progress is stored in your own browser.
• Orders: your name and email, and what you bought. Payment details go to PayPal. I do not see your card number.
• Bookings: your name, email and the time you choose, through TidyCal.
• Recordings: the audio or video you submit for a Baseline, including your voice, and your answers to the prompts.
• Site visits: your approximate location, device, browser and the pages you view, through Google Analytics.

How I use it

• To reply to you and to deliver what you bought.
• To prepare your Baseline report and coaching from your recording.
• To send you emails if you asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link. I send list emails through Kit.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

I do not sell your information.

Your recordings

Only I listen to your recording. It is used to prepare your Baseline and your coaching, and nothing else. I will not publish it or use it in marketing without your written permission. I keep recordings and reports until you ask me to delete them. You can ask me to delete your recording and report at any time.

Notes about your sessions. I keep notes on your sessions and progress, and I keep them indefinitely. I may use what I learn, such as the patterns I see and the teaching methods that work, to create future content and materials. This is methodology only. I will never use your name, voice, recording, video or likeness without your written permission.

• Google Analytics, for site statistics
• Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser contacts Google to load them.
• YouTube, for embedded videos. Videos load from the privacy enhanced youtube-nocookie.com address.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as your approximate location, device type and how you use this site. This can include online identifiers. I use it in aggregate to improve the site. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt out add on or through your browser settings.

Where information is processed

The services above process information in several countries, including the United States. By using Accent Forge you understand your information may be handled outside the country where you live.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your information, to object to some uses, and to withdraw consent. This includes rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, California law and Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. Email baseline@accentforgecoaching.com and I will respond within 30 days.

Security

I use reputable services and limit who can access your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send me anything you would not want a service provider to process.

I will update this page when my practices change, and change the date at the top.
